Fountain County Genealogy Society, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit organization founded in 1995 for those who share an interest in genealogy as a means of collecting and disseminating information related to the history of Fountain County and to to promote and preserve history.
Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in genealogy.
Membership begins each March and the $20 annual fee includes a bi-monthly newsletter.
Business meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the
d'Arlier Cultural Center

We Don't Meet During The Month Of December .
Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome your attendance. Occasionally meetings are postponed or rescheduled.

Our members receive a newsletter bi-monthly via mail or email with local and family histories.
Upon joining the Society, new members will receive any back issues of newsletters for the current membership year.
We are ALWAYS in need of volunteers.
If you have some spare time and an interest in genealogy we'd love to have you come and work with us.
