Meet Our Benefactor
George d'Arlier

"It is my wish that my home be used as a cultural and educational center for the benefit of Veedersburg and the surrounding area. It is my wish that the center be used partially to house a library, but hope and trust that it can be used as a broader cultural and learning center, including, but not limited to sculpture, architecture, painting and music."
--will of George d'Arlier

George d'Arlier is probably most famous for retouching the famous "Mona Lisa" at The Louvre Museum in Paris, France.

The d'Arlier Cultural Center offers its facilities for meetings, social and family events and classes. Groups or individuals may schedule tours of the restored Prairie Style house by calling the director, Sue White at (765) 294-4824. Artists wishing to hold an exhibit of their work or folks wanting information on the various classes offered may also contact the Center.
